Our promotion experience
Our promotion company Cases de Sóller – together with the construction company Construcciones Suau S.A., from which we split off years ago – can look back on a very long construction experience in the region of Sóller.
Our promotion experience guarantees us a good knowledge of the local market and therefore of the relationship between building costs and sales scenarios. This, in turn, guarantees the effective viability of our projects and the creditworthiness of our swap bids to the owners.
From the year 1980 on we have promoted 17.152 metres of building in 106 homes in Puerto de Sóller and 15.697 metres of building in 87 homes in the urban centre of Sóller.
At the moment we have building lots available in both locations.
Property and debt situation
We believe that the public information on our balance sheets of the latest accounting periods reflects truthfully our track record in the promotion business and that the percentage of our profits destined for reserves reflects our bid for a fixed and permanent growth.
Our solvency has allowed us to face the necessities of bank financing required by our projects with sufficient guarantees. Thus it has allowed us despite the grave economic crisis to fulfil our obligations towards the bank and towards our suppliers, which obligations in the case of the latter do not exist. To this our company’s large accumulation of capital and low financial leverage that distinguish us from other companies in the sector has contributed.
At this moment Cases de Sóller S.L. has considerable assets in available property, such as lots of different development potential, commercial venues, homes, and parking spaces for rent, with stress on the regular rents this real estate generates.
